Dear guildies,

Since we don't have a forum yet, we set up this bloggiething so we could get some information across to you all for now.

First off, we want to thank you all. Thanks for the trust that you have placed in us. It was a sudden change for all of us, but we pulled it off. We weren't even certain if we were going to be able to raid the first weeks, but we managed to get 7,88888 / 8 down in one week and we got our first heroic kill! We had some great teamwork going on. And we had a lot of fun at the same time.

We cleared Firelands, and eventhough Murcia looked like a drunk one-eyed, one-winged pidgeon trying to fly on the Alysrazor-fight, it was a really smooth run. We ran through a bunch of retroraids, got people some kewl lootz. All week we saw guildies doing heroics and battlegrounds together, and helping each other out, and it was great to see.

We also want to thank Cal and Khay for the generous donations to the guildbank, and a great thank you goes out to all who have fished so far. That certainly helped kickstart the guild.

Please remember that your opinion matters to us. We may be the officers, but without you guys, we would just be 3 dim goofballs in an empty guild. Don't hesitate to address us if you have any concerns, problems or suggestions. We will also keep organising guildmeetings from time to time.

In the rest of this post, you'll find a short summary of the results of the first guildmeeting. The list of all the guildnames Murcia has received is attached as well. So cast your votes!

Guildmeeting - summary


* We're not a raiding guild. We are a guild with a progressive raiding team. That means  that every member matters, not only the raiders. Everyone has a voice!

* DS raid times for now are Tu - Thu - Su from 19.45 - approx 23.00. This means, be ready for an invite at 19.45 sharp. The first pull happens at 20.00 sharp. Be on time. You may lose your raidspot if you're not. Don't make your fellow guildies wait.
During the raid there will be one 10 minute break. Avoid all afk's during the raid. Our raiding time is limited and we want to make the most out of it.
All raiders and trials obviously are expected to know the mechanics of the encounters, to know their class and to be completely geared, gemmed and enchanted. Bring enough pots.

* Guildies would like to see events and activities, including: Retro-runs, (normal and heroic) Firelands-runs, quizzes, RBG's and RBG's, karaoke's, bare-butt-runs, achievement runs, races, guild heroics and BH-runs... We will try our best to organize these. Guildies are also free to make their own events, of course, or address us if they need help setting something up.

* The guild will get a new name. People have had their chance to send in all their suggestions, and can vote for their favourite from now on.

* Once a guildname has been picked, we'll also start working on a forum. Any help or advice on that matter is most welcome, since it is something none of the officers have experience with.

* The guildbank welcomes all your donations, but don't use the guildbank as a garbage bin. We need fish for feasts desperately! This means: highland guppies, fathom eels and lavascales. Fish is very expensive, but if every raider fishes for 20 minutes a week, we can keep providing feasts for all.

* Guild repairs will be altered if the cash flow is high enough.

* We have our own ventrillo server. You can find the log in details under guild info. Feel free to use it at all times.

* Please address us with your concerns, suggestions or problems. Your opinion matters, but we can only take it into account when you actually tell us what's on your mind.
